Run the River

September 25th and 26th

This two day event, a part of the Whitewater Adventure 2010, will begin on September 25^th.  Come join us for an exciting trip down the beautiful Whitewater River.  We will put canoes and kayaks into the river just west of Brookville.  In the evening we will camp along the river and eat around a campfire.  Dinner and breakfast in the morning are included in the price.  Saturday morning we will enter the river again to enjoy another day of canoeing the Whitewater ending at Elizabethtown, Ohio. 

If you have your own canoe or kayak bring it along.  Let us know if you need a kayak or canoe, we’ll provide one.  Life jackets are a must, (I can swim to but safety first) let us know if you will need one.  Your own camping gear is needed but volunteers will have your tent ready when we stop to eat and sleep.  Transportation back to your vehicles will be provided. 

This adventure is only $35.00 per person.   Where can you have this much fun for so little while supporting such a good cause?  Plus you will receive an event t-shirt.  So grab a few friends and join us on this journey down Indiana’s swiftest river.  You’ll be glad you did!  Please, no alcoholic beverages allowed.
