FREUDENFEST JULY 17 & 18
This community festival is held annually during the third weekend of July in Oldenburg, Indiana. It is a celebration of the German heritage of our region and highlights the spirit in this small Midwest community.
Freudenfest originated in 1977 and has become one of the premier German festivals in the Tri-State area, drawing thousands of people into Oldenburg during the weekend event. Live German music, food, contests, shows, games, antique machinery display and the finest imported German beer on tap make this event a huge success! Michaela Farm will be giving free tours.
